Research interests
The primary research interest deals with human and global interactions underlying problems of groundwater quantity and quality for strategies of diagnosis, operation, mitigation, and protection. Innovation deals with techniques and computational applications for aquifer recharge and groundwater chemical baseline evaluations at different spatiotemporal scales and climate scenarios, surface water and groundwater flow modelling, and hydro-economic modelling focused on the water-energy-food nexus and groundwater dependent socio-economy.
The two secondary research interests deal with hydro-stratigraphic techniques aimed to define the spatiotemporal geometry of geological reservoirs, and hydro-geophysical exploration strategies aimed to define the dynamics of hydrothermal and fresh groundwater resources.
