Jaime Martínez-Valderrama is a hired scientist within the Desertification and Geoecology Dept. at the Arid Zone Research Station (EEZA-CSIC). He has been working as a postdoc since 2006. His main expertise is related with System Dynamics modeling. This methodology allows integrating socioeconomic aspects with ecological variables. He has participated in several research projects, including DeSurvey IP, Mesotopos and the Spanish Action Plan against Desertification.
