[Journal of Arid Environments - Special Issues]

[Deserts of the World]

Since 2006 the Journal of Arid Environments is publishing a series of review issues called Deserts of the World. This series compiles current knowledge on all aspects of selected arid areas around the world, using a common format, to include reviews on the physical environment and climate, geomorphology and soils, biology, anthropology, land use, and land management. Still, the series will be flexible enough to accommodate for the differences in the development of research found in each particular area.
